Now we have a wonderful couple from Kalamazoo who have, with the help of many wonderful local saints, settled in to their new home in Grand Rapids. Earlier a young sister from the west coast migrated to GR for a post grad program. In October another young sister moved her self and her business from the east coast to GR. There is more, this January a young couple and their two children are migrating to GR for a new job here. We have been sharing prayers with the many saints burdened for Grand Rapids regarding migration and the Lord has simply exceeded what we have hoped for!
5 Baptisms
A brother had a burden to be baptized so we began to study together in our home meeting about, what baptism is. We were all unveiled and deeply touched to see how this baptism testimony cuts away at the core of Satan’s being and saves us out of his evil world system and into Christ’s resurrection life. Through this fellowship, four other saints got convicted and by Friday five were baptized, Hallelujah
The Lords Table in Grand Rapids
We have taken to heart the encouragement we received from one of the dear saints faithfully caring for us. His fellowship was: “Without a regular LD meeting it will prove difficult to build up the Lord’s testimony in GR.
O Lord – have Your way. May Your will be done.”
We now have increased the frequency of the Lord’s Table Meeting to twice a month on the first and third Lords Day of each month.
We hope many would be able to come to Grand Rapids and stand with us around His Table to celebrate.
